This page is devoted to the descendents of Thomas Davis of Acworth, NH. He was my 4th great grandfather. He was born in Amesbury, MA on 10 June 1753. He served as a private in the Revolution in Massachusetts. He later became a Quaker and moved to Acworth, New Hampshire probably about 1790. He remained there until his death on 18 August 1834. I believe that his parents are Benaiah Davis and Sarah Colby, who were married in Amesbury, MA on 2 April 1752. Benaiah died c. February 1757. He was part of the Crown Point Expedition, and may have died there. Sarah later married John Mills of Hampstead, NH.
