Gil has extensive notes on various court depsitions. He was born circa 1639/40 at England. He married Sarah Myrick, daughter of James Myrick and Margaret Unknown, on 27 April 1664 at Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts. John Atkinson married Hannah Noyes, daughter of Nicholas Noyes and Mary Cutting, on 3 June 1700. John Atkinson died on 26 June 1713 at Newbury, Essex Co., Massachusetts.
